Y'know, I feel kind of bad. I want you to know that I really enjoyed the word fic you wrote. The bits with Mr. Simmons and Arnold selling the house and others like them were moving and very well written. I wrote the comments I did as a loving joke, but I don't think I quite communicated how cool I think the whole thing was.

I was just looking over it again tonight and thought you should know that I think you're an awesome writer, and that I'm sorry if my little gag was at all offensive.

I appreciate you saying this. I did think it was a bit over-the-top, but I knew your intentions were fuzzy warm intentions. I almost wondered if, because I adored some previous "short fiction replies" you'd written, you felt somewhat obliged to... continue the tradition? The fiction replies are always awesome, of course, but they aren't crucial in order for your comment to be special to me. A few simple sentences telling me what you thought is enough to make me happy.
